Key Responsibilities
- Pack food items neatly into pouches, boxes, or containers
- Weigh every pack accurately as per the set quantity
- Seal packets properly so items stay fresh and leak-free
- Label packs with product name, weight, and date details
- Check packed items for damage, spillage, or wrong sealing
- Keep the packing table and work area clean and hygienic
- Arrange finished packs into cartons and stack them for dispatch
- Maintain a simple count of the items packed each day
- Track packing material stock and inform when supplies run low
- Follow basic food hygiene rules while handling items
- Assist with loading and shifting of packed cartons
- Report machine or material problems to the supervisor
