Key Responsibilities
- Read each prescription carefully and hand over the right medicines
- Double-check the medicine name, dose and expiry date before billing
- Keep medicines sorted on the shelves so they are quick to find
- Watch stock levels and tell the owner what needs reordering
- Take expired or damaged strips off the shelves
- Tell customers how and when to take each medicine
- Make bills and collect cash or UPI payments at the counter
- Keep the counter clean and neat for customers
