Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Tata Ace for daily goods pickups and deliveries in Gulbarga
- Operate the Tumtum for passenger and short-route trips as assigned
- Plan the day’s route so every stop is covered on time
- Load and unload goods carefully at each pickup and drop point
- Check tyres, brakes, oil, and lights before starting every trip
- Secure the load so goods do not shift or get damaged on the road
- Keep both vehicles clean and report mechanical problems promptly
- Maintain fuel records and hand over bills to the office
- Collect delivery confirmation or signature from the customer
- Follow traffic rules and keep vehicle documents ready for checks
- Inform the supervisor about delays, breakdowns, or route changes
- Assist with loading help at the godown when required
