Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries that come in by phone or at the counter.
- Draw up quotations and send them to customers who show interest.
- Key confirmed orders into the system carefully so nothing is wrong.
- Chase pending orders and payments with the customers concerned.
- Keep the sales team and the dispatch staff working to the same plan.
- Hold customer records up to date, including their contact details.
- Put together the sales figures the manager needs daily and weekly.
- Settle customer complaints yourself or pass them to the manager.
- Check what stock is on hand before an order is confirmed.
- Back up the sales team with paperwork and with scheduling.
