Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical wiring, fitting and repair work at sites
- Assist the senior electrician during installation and maintenance jobs
- Test circuits, switches and connections before handover
- Identify and fix faults in panels, lighting and power points
- Handle tools and testing instruments safely and correctly
- Load, carry and set up material and equipment at the work site
- Follow electrical safety rules and use protective gear at all times
- Keep the work area clean and return tools after each job
- Report material requirements and shortages to the supervisor
- Record completed work and site details in the daily job sheet
